We visited a traditional Casava Bakery in the Carib Indian territory. The bread is made from the grated root of the Casava bush. It was quite tasty, but could have done with some butter and honey! mmmm. The Carib Indians are the native inhabitants of the Caribbean Islands. Most of them were killed when Europeans invaded, and Dominica has the last remaining population. They have their own independantly governed territory . | |
